Updates

Since I am currently unemployed, I vow to make this blog one of my top priorities. After a month of pure craziness of packing, painting, and reorganizing the house to put it up on the market, I think I now have time to take pictures of the kids and keep everyone up to date on what is going on in our lives. I can enjoy this time with the Carter, Kiernan, and David.

I thought it would be a good idea to enjoy this beatiful weather we had this week and decided we should go to Young's Dairy Farm and the Cincinnati Zoo. Believe it or not, Kiernan was the wimp of the crowd. She enjoyed the animals, but I think she would rather have had a cookie and a nap. Carter on the other hand, loved everything about it. It was a perfect 3 hours of animal watching and poop smelling. I am glad my parents bought us season passes. It was easy to leave after a few hours knowing we can go back anytime.

Carter, David, and I went to Children's Hospital in Cincinnati to have Carter's extra tooth removed. He woke up bright and early at Grandmom's and said "Okay, guys. I am ready to go have my surgery." We left Kiernan with Grandmom and went to the hospital. He did a wonderful job in the pre-op and selected cherry smell to fall asleep to. At around 10:30am we met with the oral surgeon (who by the way is wonderful and I highly recommend him to anyone), and said Carter did a great job and here is his tooth!

In post op, Carter did great. All he wanted to do was go see Kiernan. We had plans of David and I having a Carter Day with him, but those plans changed when Carter started crying once he heard Kiernan was with Grandmom and he was not going to see her the next day. After about another 3 hours of him being sad, he took a nap and woke up to his funny Carter self. He loved all the icecream, popscicles, and pudding he could possibly put in his belly.

Before we went to bed, David brought out his little baseball glove Diane made for him to put his teeth in for the Tooth Fairy. Which was very cute, but not so cute that my 32 year-old husband STILL had two teeth in it. GROSS GROSS GROSS. The Tooth Fairy brought Carter a half dollor and 50 cents. He put the money immediatly in his piggy bank when he woke up. He was a little sad to hear the Tooth Fairy didn't come see David. He was expecting David to get money since he had teeth in the baseball glove. Carter- always thinking of others.

DANCE GIRL DANCE

Well- Kiernan must get her moves from her mother! Natalie came over and we had a little dance party after dinner. The first video you see her diggin in a bag. Well- Aunt Jeanne always has snacks in her bag for Natalie. KEG has a deep love for her Aunt because she always has food. AI have yet to capture KEG dancing with the video camera. The trick is to use the actual camera-not the video camera.

A Good Wife

So everyone knows how much I love my husband, and how much I love to poke fun at him. Just as much as he loves me and makes fun of me. Aunt Kathy gave me Notre Dame tickets for my birthday. As we are standing in line, I noticed a LARGE WHITE ear hair out of David's ear. I was appauled. Not really sure if it was because it was so long OR just becasue it was white! Like any normal wife, I took a picture. A day later, David cut the hair. But for your viewing pleasure.....

Christmas

All Carter wanted from Santa was an ipod and computer. However, his excitment for the two items we lost in the first present he saw from Santa-the 50's diner set. Both Kiernan and Carter loved the set. Carter went straight to cooking and Kiernan the big girl that she is went straight to the table to eat! Thanks Santa for giving us a great weekend.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. Carter, Kiernan, and I drove down to Cincy Wednesday night to meet up with Great Aunt Kathy, Grandmom, Grandfather, and Uncle Mike. David joined us Thursday after work and running the Turkey Trot in Dayton. Grandmother had soo much yummy food, we could hardly eat all if it! Kiernan at the Gorgonzola dip and French Onion dip by the handfuls. Carter of course would not touch ANY of it.

Saturday, Great Aunt Kathy and Grandfather went to Carter's basketball game. After last week's game he told Cook "I almost won money. Coach Josh said there was 1 quarter left". Needless to say, Carter was excited to learn there were 4 quarters this week!!!! He played well for a 3 year-old.
